  1. Great video im considering this truck i dont pull or tow just looking for full size n gas saving very nice truck i have a full size v6 tundra. Very good

  2. The work truck option comes with z71 transfer case and lockers. This truck is a no brainer and you can buy one for 36k. Nissan suck ass no way I would buy those hunk of junks

  3. I own a Silverado 2.7t it is my work truck and is almost full load of tool i even got a Wooden box about 400lbs on top and still doing 10L/100km but still i wonder why not make the 5.3l Turbo that whould crush the competitor !

  4. I will be stupid if I believe that the four-cylinder truck will be capable of towing and hauling like V8. Even it makes it now because it is new, this engine will never last. It seems like a weak person drinks some energy drink to carry heavy weight. He will do it for a short period of time then, he will collapse. It is common sense. I guess the government gets crazy for gas efficiency so much.

  5. NO BODY that uses a truck for a truck gives a rip about gas mileage unless all you do with it is haul kids and groceries. Put a yard of sand in it and see if it will pull itself out of it’s own tracks

  6. General Motors history with unique engines is pretty bleak. Anyone ever work on the double overhead cam V6 from the 1990's? How about a QuadFour? History is littered with angry, bleak stories about unique GM powertrain technology. The pushrod V8 is the better solution while our meat-puppet President Elect plans how to destroy our energy industry.

  7. Wish chevy would say screw a 4 cylinder, and make a 4.3 turbo…. Or even use the colorado diesel in the 1500 silverado.

  8. Love my 2.7 elevation monochromatic look; I tow under 6000 lbs. I throw allot of Palm Proms time to time from my house to the local trash dumb. Love my Bose sound system. Enjoy how quiet it is. I'm avg here in a dense city like Miami, Fla 18-19 mpg moderately driving it on a lite foot. I managed city driving in Tennessee, 20-21 city no A/C needed. Hwy i have managed 24-26 mpg's at 75-77 with a bed cover. I take my clients with kids and fit up to 6 people inside the truck "adults & kids" . Now love the Torque. Towed up the Keybiscane bridge 4500 lbs boat and purposely wanted show off its power to my V8 buddy and he Awe Struck! Bad Ass . Love how quiet my crew cab is.. The GMC LED interior dash is nicer then the Chevy.

  9. Cool Chevy just put a 4 cylinder in a Silverado and make it a throw away auto too. I’m more interested to see how many are running after 100k on the motor and the problems in the ones that are running after 100k!

  10. I had this truck while my 19 ram with the hemi was getting serviced. Sad thing is that the Silverado's suv sounding engine was actually a lot louder and more obnoxious sounding than the hemi. It has to "yell" a lot more for basic driving.

  11. If only chevy made a 4.3L turbo… It's only truck I had that can get 25.2 fuel mileage… Although the cylinder deactivation brings some cab drone. I would never buy a 4×4 without a low range.. Then you might as get awd.. Even the 14-19 4.3 had low range.. and 7-7200 towing

  12. Again, typical of GM, new engine but not available across the line. Isn't even available in the Z71 package let alone a Trail Boss. GM make you powertrains available in all models so your potential customer can choose their truck and powertrains, NOT YOU!!

  13. I drive a 2014 Ford F150, four wheel drive extra cab, it has the 5.0 liter engine. I get almost the same mileage as the Silverado. It is a bulletproof engine, mine uses no oil, and, i pull a jobsite trailer with a load of heavy tools with no problems. Why all the hype for these turbo's? They are over engineered and a lot more expensive.

  14. I’m personally getting kinda tired of seeing small engines with turbos in bigger vehicles. If it was a small turbo diesel, it would get my attention. Just give me a V8 or strong V6 with no turbos and we’ll be good.

  15. You can talk fuel economy and adequate power all day long, but lets talk about how long that over stressed turbocharged 4 CYLINDER POS is going to last in a full size truck. That puny little engine will be wheezing and burning oil early on and who knows what else will go wrong under that scenario. GM is trying to sell these POS to the public to keep their fleet economy numbers up AT THE CUSTOMERS EVENTUAL EXPENSE. Wait and see, it WILL NOT LAST. This kind of thing has been tried in the past with big vehicles and always failed in the long run. Turbo chargers shorten piston ring life due to the higher pressures and temperatures, this truck feels ok now cause it new, give it time it will die early.
